Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Loudy. By creating an account you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to hide anything.

1. The service

Loudy turns text you provide into speech audio and stores the resulting MP3 files on your account so you can play and download them. Synthesis is performed by ElevenLabs on our behalf.

2. Your account

  • You need a valid email address, and you are responsible for keeping your password safe.
  • One person or organisation per account. Do not share credentials.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country.
  • You can close your account at any time from the Profile page.

3. Plans, quotas and payment

  • Free costs nothing and includes 2,000 Conversational v3 characters per month.
  • Pro costs €11.99 per month and includes 40,000 Expressive v3 characters, or up to 70,000 Conversational v3 characters, per month.
  • Studio costs €19.99 per month and includes 90,000 Expressive v3 characters, or up to 157,500 Conversational v3 characters, per month.
  • Quotas are measured from submitted text. On paid plans, one Conversational character uses four-sevenths of the quota of one Expressive character, including when the two models are mixed. Quotas reset on the first day of each calendar month and unused allowance does not roll over.
  • When a quota is reached, generation stops until the reset. Recordings you already made stay available.
  • Payments are not processed inside the application yet; paid plans are arranged directly with us. Prices are shown excluding any tax that may apply to you.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Loudy to:

  • clone, imitate or synthesise the voice of a real person without that person's explicit permission;
  • create material that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or sexualises minors;
  • impersonate anyone, or produce audio intended to deceive or defraud;
  • generate spam, robocalls, or automated nuisance content;
  • resell raw synthesis capacity, or automate the service beyond normal use in a way that circumvents quotas.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why.

5. Your content

The text you submit and the audio generated from it belong to you. You keep all rights to them, and you may use the resulting audio commercially. You give us permission only to process and store that content in order to run the service. We do not use it to train models. You are responsible for having the rights to the text you submit.

6. Availability and data retention

  • The service is provided as-is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability and may take it down for maintenance.
  • Audio files are removed once the retention window of your plan passes; the text stays in your history. Keep your own copy of anything important.
  • We may change plan limits or prices. Changes that affect you will be announced by email before they take effect.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Loudy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the service in the three months before the claim arose.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we are legally required to close. Deleting your account removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
